Invisible Illness Awareness Week

It’s Invisible Illness Awareness week (September 9-13)! I wanted to share this graphic in honor of all of us out there suffering from an invisible illness like fibromyalgia. Remember, just because you can’t see our pain doesn’t mean it isn’t real. Soft hugs everyone 🙂

Thank you. Unfortunately I am a member of this awful club and I’ve been battling a severe flare for the past 4 weeks. Not finding any relief with the usual things I do for this monster. I’m trying to take it one day at a time.

Hang in there! I know how awful flare ups can be. Have you tried meditation? That usually helps me knock the pain down a notch, even when I’m not up to moving. I have to practice at it though to be able to meditate during a bad flare up. Soft hugs!

I do usually meditate, but when the pain is this bad, I can’t seem to get comfortable enough to be still enough, long enough to meditate. I am going to at least attempt to meditate tonight. Thank you, and soft hugs back.
